Preferred was amazing! They towed me at no charge, kept me informed and took care of my issue. Explained in detail what was done and even replaced a bulb at no charge. Thank you... And I would recommend with no reservations.

This auto shop was helpful, fast, and friendly. But the tow truck driver who picked me up was unprofessional and made me feel extremely unsafe. One, just one among many, example of this was how he told me to leave my partner because I don't have kids yet. He told me to go to a particular shop that was AAA certified, and when I said I needed a certified shop, like Preferred, he said "you need to figure out what you're talking about because I'll charge you no matter what." He should be fired. His name was Jose and the license plate number of his truck was 8x61594.

Wonderful customer service. I drove from Truckee, CA to Gilroy, CA to purchase a specific used car, so I knew of no local shops to handle the pre-purchase inspection. I called Preferred Automotive late in the day on a Monday and they scheduled an appointment for the next day and carefully explained the process and costs. The inspection seemed extremely thorough and was exceedingly beneficial. Sarah, in particular, was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Dave and team provide quality service. I've been taking several of my cars to them and the work is always solid. They always communicate the work to be done and make recommendations as needed. They keep a clean shop which shows their attention to detail. When I needed a ride they were always accommodating. Dave and Sara are very friendly and professional.

Worked closely with me to determine the most cost effective strategy for repair of an older car which we need for a while but do not want to keep that long. Will go back with my other cars for sure!
